A splash of colour

After the warm days we’ve had recently, our birdbath at Country Style Louisa has been a popular stop

This time, a rainbow lorikeet — one of Australia’s most colourful Australian native birds — came in to visit. Earlier there were two enjoying a refreshing bath together, such a joy to watch that we couldn’t help but grab the camera.

This little moment was captured afterwards — just one lorikeet on its own, pausing, drinking, and soaking up the calm of the garden.
