Last week we shared the joy of spotting a healthy swallowtail caterpillar in our garden… and now nature has taken another beautiful step forward.
The caterpillar is beginning to transform into its chrysalis (cocoon).
If you look closely, you can still see the gentle outline of the caterpillar as it changes — a fascinating glimpse into the incredible cycle of life.
Moments like these remind us just how special it is to create spaces where nature feels welcome and protected. From butterflies and bees to birds and native plants, our gardens are designed to support wildlife and encourage these everyday wonders.
When you stay with us, you’re not just booking accommodation — you’re choosing a place that values eco-conscious living, wildlife-friendly gardens, and meaningful connections with the natural world.
