Last weekend we had the privilege of experiencing the red carpet opening of Cluedo The Play at Her Majesty's Theatre Adelaide — and what a magnificent night it was.
A little history…
Her Majesty’s Theatre has been at the heart of Adelaide’s cultural scene since 1913, beautifully restored to continue welcoming world-class performances while honouring its rich heritage.
Cluedo The Play is a brilliant comedy now showing in South Australia — funny, fast-paced and full of clever twists. It keeps you guessing right to the end, with great acting and seamless stage changes that bring the story to life. (Check out our Facebook page for our video)
International Theatre Day recognises the importance of theatre as a cultural art form — connecting people, sharing stories, and celebrating creativity across the world.
How lucky are we to enjoy such incredible performances right here in South Australia.
If you’re planning to attend Cluedo The Play, I would highly recommend it — a fantastic night out in one of Adelaide’s beautiful historic theatres.
And if you’re thinking about your next getaway, why not plan a visit to South Australia — whether you’re travelling from regional SA, interstate or overseas — and experience our vibrant arts and theatre scene for yourself.
A heartfelt thank you to the artists, musicians, directors and all those behind the scenes who bring these productions to life — and to the beautiful theatres themselves, each with their own story to tell.
And a special thank you to Catherine Fitz-Gerald for kind invitation and company — a beautiful South Australian artist whose work is truly worth exploring. Take a moment to check out her incredible paintings.
Theatre is more than a performance — it’s history, passion and shared experience.
