Kapunda's New Silo Mural - Stunning

Recently, we had the chance to stop by Kapunda and see this magnificent work of art coming to life — a true celebration of South Australia’s history and community spirit. Even before it was finished, the detail was breathtaking!

The mural, created by talented artist Smug (Sam Bates), beautifully weaves together stories of Kapunda’s farming and mining heritage — honouring the hardworking people who helped shape the region. It’s a stunning tribute that now stands tall as a landmark for locals and travellers alike.
