Earlier today I noticed a tree with a low hollow and wondered quietly to myself – is anyone living there?
Later, with the afternoon light just right, the answer appeared. A beautiful cockatoo peeked out – most likely making this hollow his home, maybe even raising a family inside.
Tree hollows are precious homes for cockatoos, owls, and many of our native birds – offering shelter, safety, and a place for life to grow. Just as these hollows are vital for wildlife, a home away from home is so important when you take a break.
That’s why our 4.5-star Adelaide Style Accommodation homes are designed to give you everything you need while travelling – washing machines, secure parking, fully equipped kitchens, quiet spaces to unwind – all those everyday comforts you don’t want to leave behind.
Now is a perfect time to visit South Australia – the landscapes are green, the air is fresh, and the wildlife is thriving. You might even spot cockatoos like this little fellow along the way.
Book your stay with us and experience the beauty of South Australia – where every creature (big or small) finds its home.
